Maybe all unnecessary talking. Talking to your kids and reading aloud to them should be permitted. Chatting with folks at the grocery store, permitted, and necessary conversations with your husband, permitted.

I tend to talk before thinking, respond before considering, react before reflecting….maybe I’ll try your approach on Fridays!

I’m so excited about getting to a place in my relationship with Karma that I can think about her and smile and giggle and not cry at all. Certainly she deserves some tears but she deserves more smiles, positive thoughts, laughs and hope.

I miss her.

Sorry, Clare. I know how much you wanted her. But you know God has a plan, and no matter how much we want to make our own plans, sometimes they just don’t work out (speaking directly of my life, too, here). You are going to find the perfect child for you guys, I just know it. Just keeps your arms and your hearts open. We love you and miss you!

We are sorry also, consider that the process is meant to result for the best for Summer-Jun and not otherwise. You have learned and I think you should wait a while, just to catch your breath and consider looking for a younger or older child. As for countries, well I cannot think of a better choice than a Chinese girl, but a child in need of a home is still a good choice.
